If you're like me, right now you'll be starting to think about Christmas stockings and stocking fillers.
When I was young, my parents used pillowcases instead of stockings. They often put satsumas and chocolate and stuff inside, and the obligatory running joke of potatoes on the top, to try to fool us into thinking that was all there was.
The thing is that most Christmas stockings end up containing bits of tat and things we don't really need, that add to 'peak stuff'.
